Popular Beauceron Treats
People aren't the only ones who enjoy surprises and treats once in a while. Pets love treats too, especially beaucerons. Finding popular DOG treats is easy when you shop for them at local pet supply stores, and the varieties are endless when it comes to finding both edible and non-edible treats for your best friend.

The name Pug is believed to have derived from this dog's resemblance to the pug monkey. That also fits the breed in other ways. Pugs tend to be curious and mischievous. They always seem to have a look of mischief and fun on their face, just like a monkey.
One of the most popular beauceron treats offered in pet stores across the nation are the rawhide chews that come available in a variety of shapes, including bones, moccasins, balls and just about anything else you can think of. Beaucerons love these chews, and some are B-B-Q-flavored, while others are enhanced with meat flavors. Beaucerons will spend hours chewing on these treats. Another extremely popular treat for beaucerons are the pigs' ears that are sold by the thousands every day across the country. They're cheap and beaucerons can chew of them for days. Chewing is good exercise for your beauceron's jaws and keeps their teeth healthy and strong.

The phalne is essentially the same thing as a papillon, except that it has dropped spaniel-like ears. within the first couple of months after birth the ears will either lay flat or raise up permanently. The AKC considers the Phalne and the Papillon to be the same breed.
While most rawhide DOG chews have no nutritional value, they provide something different for your beauceron to occupy his or her time with, and aside of the benefits of the chewing exercise, your beaucerons tail will wag for hours when occupied gnawing and nibbling on their rawhide chews. Beaucerons also like to chew on ropes, or better yet, a real joint bone from your local butcher's shop. If you buy a joint bone for your beauceron, make sure you find one that will suit the size of your beauceron. Many people purchase a knee or shoulder joint bone, and then boil it and dry it before offering it to their beaucerons, as it will last forever and won't break or be accidentally swallowed.

Chow Chows have very unusual mouths. When they are born they look normal enough. However, by the age of about 8 weeks, their gums and tongues go from pink to an odd shade of bluish-black.
Making and creating your own popular beauceron treats are another option, and packages and recipes abound for creating wholesome, nutritious beauceron treats in your own kitchen, using ingredients such as liver, giblets, whole grain rice and vegetables. Such recipe ingredients are then shaped into fire hydrants, cats, balls and bones for your beaucerons enjoyment. One very simple treat is to bake beef liver in your oven until it's crisp. (You may not like the smell, but it will drive your beauceron crazy with anticipation)!

The afghan hound ranks as least intelligent breed of dog. They are cute, friendly, loyal and fun, but they usually require 80 to 100 repetitions to learn a single command. Afghan hounds are a bad choice if you are looking for a dog that's easy to train, but they are great if you have patience.
Still, the most popular beauceron treats continue to be the rawhide chews. Just insure that your beauceron isn't taking huge bites of it, which can swell to four times their size when they become wet, as in the beauceron's stomach. Of course, traditional DOG biscuit bones are still a great favorite among most DOG breeds, so you should always have some of those on hand as well. Don't forget, beaucerons like treats too, so ensure that you have a variety of them to offer on a regular basis.

There are two famous parson (jack) russell terriers on TV. Eddie is famous for his crazy antics on the hit show, Frazier. Wishbone was the main character who had his own children's show on PBS!

The largest and the smallest dogs to live in the White House were both there during the tenure of president James Buchanan. The president had a Newfoundland named Lara. His niece, Harriet Lane, had a tiny toy terrier named Punch.
