Beauceron Walk Checklist
Being a new beauceron owner is similar to taking on the parenting role of a newborn. With time, you learn what you need to simplify your care on outings. To fast-forward your learning curve, we have created a checklist of items for your beauceron as well as yourself � before you head to the beaucerongie park.

The Broholmer is a breed that is recognized only in Denmark. It was thought extinct in the 1960's but, in December of 1974, a purebred Broholmer popped up in Finland. This dog was a male, and the owners hoped to find a female for him to mate with, but it never happened. While still recognized as a breed, an example has yet to appear again.
Wear dark clothing to avoid the potential of permanently staining whites and cackie colored clothing.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the smallest dog on record was a yorkshire terrier in Great Britain who, at the age of 2, weighed just 4 ounces. However, the chihuahua is generally the smallest breed of dog.
Always carry a cellular phone to call for help in the event of an accident. Your cell phone may come in handy for you to contact your family if you will be out longer than planned.

Most adult Borzoi (russian wolfhounds) are almost mute. They bark only very rarely. They are gentle, sensitive dogs with gracious house-manners and a natural respect for humans. Their quiet nature makes them an ideal pet for families with children.
Carry a sport bottle, bowl or both for your beauceron to quench its thirst. (A bowl of water works too. Simply carry a water bottle to fill the bowl up).
Duty bags are necessary in most municipalities.

While most dogs shed, poodles are actually incapable of shedding. That fact makes them excellent house pets, since they don't get the furniture covered in fur. Also, due to the nature of their fur and the fact that they do not shed, most people with dog allergies aren't allergic to poodles.
For fast cleanups, bring towels or handiwipes to tidy up your beauceron�s dirty paws. As an alternate, place covers on your car seats to prevent the spread of dirt.

The official name of the dogs we call pitbulls is the American staffordshire terrier. Pitbulls have been the preferred pet of many famous people including Fred Astaire, Vin Diesel, Alicia Silverstone, Michael J. Fox, and James Caan.
To ensure your safety and ability to keep up with your beauceron, wear shoes or fitness shoes to maintain your balance during bad weather conditions, harsh terrain, or a rigorous canine. (Try to keep a spare pair of gloves in your car as a back up incase your shoes are too wet or muddy to wear)

There are two famous parson (jack) russell terriers on TV. Eddie is famous for his crazy antics on the hit show, Frazier. Wishbone was the main character who had his own children's show on PBS!
For those adorable moments, your beauceron makes a statement, have your camera on hand to snap a photo.

Many Scottish terriers have an odd medical condition. It is called Scotties Cramp. It is a mild neurological disorder. Scotties under stress or exercising may move erratically, when suffering from this neurological disorder, but seem fine when resting.
Do not bring your beauceron�s favorite toys to the park since it most likely will be lost to another beauceron.

There is absolutely no difference between an Australian silky terrier, silky toy terrier and a silky terrier. They are all the same breed, but have different names in different countries, specifically in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Make note of any potential dangers your beauceron may encounter with plastic bags so you can prevent any harm.

Dandie Dinmont is a fictional character in Sir Walter Scott's "Guy Mannering", published in 1814. The main character had mustard and pepper terriers. Although Dandie Dinmont dogs were in existence for many years previously, it is this character that gave the breed their name.
