Beauceron Halloween Costume Do's and Dont's
Halloween is an enchanting day where even beaucerons can join in the fun. Despite the festivities of the day, keeping a canine safe is mission critical. Use the following safety precautions to assure the safety of your beauceron:

French poodles were originally used as hunting dogs, but, because their thick coats proved a problem in the bush and water, their owners started clipping them. They left hair on the ankles to protect against rheumatism, which is why poodles sometimes appear to have unusual haircuts.
If your beauceron must wear a costume, use the following tips in its Halloween attire:

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the smallest dog on record was a yorkshire terrier in Great Britain who, at the age of 2, weighed just 4 ounces. However, the chihuahua is generally the smallest breed of dog.
Opt for safe and annoying free costumes that allow for easy movement
A costume should not inhibit your beauceron's ability to breathe and bark
The costume should not obstructs his or her vision
Dogs should never be left without supervision in a costume

The doberman pinscher breed was created in the 1860's by a man named Louis Doberman. Mr. Doberman was a German tax-collector. He needed a dog to protect him from angry people while he worked. To this day, dobermans are excellent guard dogs.
Always monitor your beauceron for bitten pieces of the costume that may trigger choking (in example: buttons, elastic, paper rubber bands, or other materials)
Affix reflective tape onto beauceron's costume if you will be out after dark
Never leave your beauceron unsupervised in a costume.

The joys of motherhood struck with a vengeance when, in 1984, a great dane became the third dog to join the record holders for largest litter. She had twenty-three puppies. Interestingly, each of the three dogs that hold the record are different breeds.
As cute as the idea of taking your beauceron to trick or treat with the family may be, the event can trigger anxiety or fear.
To avoid any potential negative encounters, keep a leash on him and be mindful of anything they try to eat during the Halloween stroll.
To minimize any anxiety or fear in your beauceron, keep pets away of boisterous children and walk them before the Halloween festivities get underway

German Shepherds have incredibly sensitive noses. They have over 225 million cell receptors in their noses, making them ideal for police work, such as bomb and drug sniffing, finding missing children and tracking criminals.
The most socially oriented beaucerons may not be ready for the entourage of children during trick-or-treating hours. To prevent any unforeseen situations, keep your beauceron in a separate room. For starters, the rampant traffic of strangers may overwhelm a beauceron. Not to mention, some children are afraid of DOGS and other pets.
Finally, if your beauceron breaks free, make sure he or she is wearing a collar with an ID tag or other proper identification.

In the latter part of the 18th century, Holland was split between the partisans of the Prince of Orange and the patriots, and the patriots were led by Kees de Gyselaer, who owned a dog named Kees. Kees gave the Keeshond breed its name and became the symbol of the Patriots.
