10-Ways to Protect Your Beauceron
Whether you are taking your canine to the park or letting him run freely in the park, your beauceron�s safety is precious.

There is absolutely no difference between an Australian silky terrier, silky toy terrier and a silky terrier. They are all the same breed, but have different names in different countries, specifically in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Use the following tips to protect your beauceron from loss, injury or illness.

2. To prevent your canine from drinking stagnant, contaminant water, carry either a sport bottle or a bowl with water

3. At the park, before you allow your pooch to run freely with other DOGS, replace training collars (pinch or choke) with an identifying buckle collar. Since, training colors can wreak havoc on other canines, it�s a good idea to switch over your beauceron�s collar

The Broholmer is a breed that is recognized only in Denmark. It was thought extinct in the 1960's but, in December of 1974, a purebred Broholmer popped up in Finland. This dog was a male, and the owners hoped to find a female for him to mate with, but it never happened. While still recognized as a breed, an example has yet to appear again.
4. To get your beauceron acclimated and warmed up for its walk, be sure to take brisk strides and a moderate jog before you release him from with other canines.

The Papillon is a small dog breed with distinctive large, fringed ears that earned it its name, the French word for butterfly. The Papillon is believed to be one of the oldest of the toy breeds.
5. Keep a watchful eye on your beauceron during any rumbling and tumbling. It is when most accidents occur.

People are always taking their Yorkshire terriers to the groomer. Why? Well, Yorkshire terriers can grow hair up to 2 feet in length! Considering that they are nowhere near two feet tall, this makes regular grooming a must!
6. Prohibit your beauceron from associating with overly aggressive canines

The springer spaniel breed is well-known for having very high energy levels. In fact, the "spring" in "springer spaniel" referred to this dog's ability to spring out at, or startle game. They are excellent hunting dogs.
7. Familiarize yourself with the rules, ordinances of your neighborhood. Contact your local municipal�s village hall.

In the late 1800's, rough collies were known as Scottish Sheepdogs. The name was eventually changed to rough collie. This is probably due to the fact that both rough and bearded collies were developed in Scotland to help herd sheep.
8. Confirm which parks are for DOGS and the hours of the venue.

The name Pug is believed to have derived from this dog's resemblance to the pug monkey. That also fits the breed in other ways. Pugs tend to be curious and mischievous. They always seem to have a look of mischief and fun on their face, just like a monkey.
9. Always, always tote a duty bag to clean up after your beauceron.

One of the weirdest dog births on record involves a Siberian Husky. The mother's name was Pixie and she gave birth to 7 puppies, which isn't unusual. The unusual part was that one of the puppies was born bright green!
10. To prevent the spread of any worms, parasites or the chances of you our your beauceron stepping in other DOG'S fecal matter, request other DOG owners to tidy up after their canine.

The phal�ne is essentially the same thing as a papillon, except that it has dropped spaniel-like ears. within the first couple of months after birth the ears will either lay flat or raise up permanently. The AKC considers the Phal�ne and the Papillon to be the same breed.
